Amadeus International School Vienna

AMADEUS Vienna charges an Annual Fee for each student per academic year, payable in full or on a termly basis in advance, upon receipt of enrolment confirmation by the school. Should you intend to enroll your child for only part of an academic year, it is possible to request an individual fee estimate. Instalment payment schemes for termly payment are available. Please indicate the desired type of payment on the Application Form.The sibling discount is 10% for the second child and 5% for any additional child.

Please note that the Lunch Programme is mandatory for ALL students. Our in-house Chefs prepare a seasonal daily lunch with two or three-course meals, as well as morning and afternoon snacks such as fresh fruits and vegetables, yoghurts, homemade sandwiches, healthy cakes or pastries, crackers, and granola bars.

Sibling Discount

The sibling discount is 10% for the second child and 5% for any additional child enroled simultaneously.

Re-enrolment Fees

Early Bird Discount

• Families that pay their tuition fees before 15 March of the following year for re-enrolment may receive a discount of 4%.
• Families that pay their tuition fees before 15 April of the following year for re-enrolment may receive a discount of 2%.
• Families that wish to pay two years fees in advance may take the opportunity of paying the previous year’s fee without inflation.

Late Re-enrolment Fee

• Families re-enroll free of charge automatically in line with the stipulated time periods within the terms and conditions. The School contract is entered into until completion of the academic programme (i.e. graduation from the IBDP) or until termination of the contract for other important reasons. The term of the contract shall automatically continue for the following school year, if the contract is not terminated by either party or the respective school year constitutes the final school year for the Student. Either party may terminate the contract by giving notice to the respective other party. Families are automatically re-enrolled for the following year after the last day of Term 2 as per the published calendar; after which financial obligations apply.
• Families who require additional time to finalise their plans, and who expressly request this in advance, can be granted an extension for late re-enrolment for a non-refundable fee of € 500.00 per student.

Fee Summary

• Application Fees: Must be paid before the application is processed.
• Enrolment Fees: Must be paid for the offer to be accepted and the school place to be reserved.
  • Enrolment Fee: A one-time non-refundable Enrolment Fee is payable upon the Student’s first- time admittance to AMADEUS. Enrolment Fee may be waived for the Student who returns to AMADEUS within a 24-month period.
  • Capital Fee: A non-refundable Capital Fee is payable upon the Student’s first-time admittance to AMADEUS. If a Student leaves AMADEUS and is re-admitted within 24 months, no further Capital Fee will be applied.
  • Deposit: A one-time refundable deposit to cover the cost of any loss or damage incurred during the time the Student attends AMADEUS is payable in full upon the Student’s first-time admittance to AMADEUS. AMADEUS reserves the right to deduct the cost of any missing or damaged school property (in particular laptops) or any other costs incurred by the Student to AMADEUS from this Deposit.
• Annual Fee: Boarding (as applicable) and tuition fees must be paid in full in case of annual fees or completed first installment in case of termly fee options before the student begins classes. A two- week grace period may be requested in the case of late enrolments.
• Additional Fees: Residence permit and medical insurance for boarders are to be paid annually in addition to the annual fee. Fees for additional services such as shuttle service, mother- tongue/language programme, additional English support, Special Educational Needs (SEN), travel insurance, external assessment costs (SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), or activities not included in the annual tuition fee, are payable for every school year and may be conditions of enrolment as indicated in the official enrolment letter. These services must be paid in full before the service is provided.

Enrolment Fee: €2,040-€3,040

The Enrolment Fee is €2,040 for Early Years students and €3,040 for Grades 1-12. It confirms a student’s entry into AMADEUS Vienna and is to be paid upon a student’s acceptance to the school to reserve his or her place. The Enrolment Fee is due in the first year only. It is non-refundable and non-transferable. Students who leave the school and however, return within 24 months are not required to pay this fee.

Security Deposit: €1,500-€3,000

The Security Deposit is €1,500 for Early Years and Grade 1-10 students, and €3,000 for Boarding and Grade 11-12 students. It is paid in the first year only upon entry into AMADEUS Vienna.
The deposit is held on the student’s account and refunded (without interest) after the student has left school, less any outstanding fees or charges. The balance should be topped up annually.

Capital Fee: €2,000-€4,000

The Capital Fee is €2,000 for Early Years 0-2, €3000 for Early Years 3, and €4,000 for Grades 1-12. It is to be paid upon a student’s acceptance into the school as an investment into future campus development. The Capital Fee is due only in the first year and it applies only to the first two siblings. It is non-refundable and non-transferable. Students who leave the school and return within 24 months are not required to pay this fee.

Shuttle Service Fee (Upon request)

AMADEUS Vienna offers a transportation service provided for students to get to and from the school (round trip). It operates on school days in the morning and afternoon, with door-to-door service. The shuttle service can be booked on a yearly basis.

Uniforms Fee~ €500

The school’s dress code requires our students to wear uniforms. The students have both a day uniform and a festive uniform. The guidelines for the required items are in the Parent Handbook and differentiate between grades. The uniform is purchased from “DER WALTER”.

Application Fee €350

A non-refundable Application Fee is to be paid upon submission of the Application Form. Applications can be processed only upon receipt of all documentation and receipt of this fee.
