Lower School

• Uniforms, (Kindergarten through Fifth Grade): $150 approximate in the first year
• Lunch, daily cost (Third Grade through Fifth Grade): $4.75 per day Students may bring their own lunch.
• Parent Association dues: $55 per year
• Chromebook (Fifth Grade only): $421

After school care is available from 3:00 to 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. when school is in session. Each day the children will be able to select from a variety of activities including arts and crafts, table games, sports, and cheering on Garrison Forest teams. A nutritious snack will also be provided. The yearly costs range from $1,000 to $3,500, depending on how many hours and days your child is enrolled.

Middle School

All fees are on a yearly basis.

Women in Science and Engineering (WISE)

Garrison Forest offers a semester residential program for qualified juniors and seniors to participate in the school's innovative partnership with Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Additional fees apply.

Driver's Education

Garrison Forest makes available to students a driver's education program offered by a local driving school with classroom instruction on campus. The driving school's course fee is approximately $350.

Instrumental Music Lessons

(All Divisions)

All fees are on a yearly basis.

• One private 30-minute lesson per week for 28 weeks: $1,250
• One 45-minute lesson per week for 28 weeks: $1,820
• One 60-minute lesson or two 30-minute lessons per week for 28 weeks: $2,360

Payment Options

To assist families with the payment of tuition, Garrison Forest offers payment options for Day, Regional, and National boarding students. Garrison Forest uses FACTS Tuition Management Systems for all tuition payment plans unless 100% of the tuition is paid by July 1. The plans administered by FACTS involve no interest charges.

Payments made to FACTS will be automatically withdrawn (ACH) from an active checking/savings account, or charged to a credit card (Master Card, Discover or American Express. No Visa). If the credit card option is chosen, FACTS charges a convenience fee, in addition to their enrollment fee. Information on these programs is mailed to all current students in January, all accepted students beginning in March and is available through either the Admission or Business Offices.

The payment options are:

Pay 100% of the tuition directly to the School by July 1.

Make two payments to FACTS: 65% by July 5th or the 20th and 35% by November 5th or the 20th. The enrollment fee is $10 per family.

Make monthly installments through FACTS: 10-month plan beginning in May, 9-month plan beginning in June or 8-month plan beginning in July. The enrollment fee is $43 per family.

Each February, current families who are up-to-date with their account are extended an Enrollment Agreement allowing them to secure their child’s place in the class for the next fall. Families will be asked to pay approximately ten percent of the tuition for the next school year to secure their child’s space. This Enrollment Agreement is due in mid-February.
