Curent Year Tuition

Important Financial Aid Deadlines

• For new applicants, the deadline for applying for financial aid is February 29th of current year. The date for notification is March 15th.
• For returning SBA student-athletes: financial aid applications are due January 31st of current year. The date for notification is February 15th.

Payment Information

A deposit of 10% of tuition is due with a signed enrollment contract. Sugar Bowl Academy offers several tuition payment plans for the balance:

• A one-time payment of full tuition due in May.
• A first payment of one-half tuition in May, with a second payment of the remaining one-half tuition in October.
• Ten monthly payments, beginning in May.

Financial Considerations

We recognize that you, as a parent, must consider the challenge of providing for your child's opportunity to attend Sugar Bowl Academy. We believe that your family's decision to join the SBA community should be based upon its academic, athletic and community offerings; not upon the cost of attendance. We offer need-based financial aid to offset the cost of tuition for eligible families. We are aware that some families choose not to apply for admission out of concern for the cost. Every family will be asked to make a sacrifice, but it is our goal to make SBA available to families from every financial background.

Financial Aid

In order to be considered for need-based financial assistance, families must complete an online application annually through a service called Fast. If you have questions while completing the application, contact Fast customer support at 1-877-326-FAST (3278). Athletics Scholarships

In addition to need-based financial aid, Sugar Bowl Academy student-athletes are encouraged to apply for athletic scholarships through the Sugar Bowl Ski Team, the Far West Masters and the Lake Tahoe Ski Education Foundation. Applications for each of these scholarships are posted here on the Sugar Bowl Ski Team website.
