All fees are fully inclusive of school meals, text books and exercise books.
The school accepts a number of childcare vouchers; please apply directly to the Bursar for details. There are a range of discounts available, please see below (discounts are not cumulative):
When two or more children from the same family are pupils in the school at the same time the second child qualifies for a 5% reduction in the full fee, the third child for a 10% reduction and the fourth child for a 15% reduction.
Children of former pupils are afforded a 10% reduction in the full fee.
Children of members of the Anglican Clergy etc. are afforded a 10% reduction in the full fee.
Children of serving members of the Armed Forces are afforded a 10% reduction in the full fee. Children are, in addition, eligible for the Services Continuing Educational Allowance, where appropriate
Children of full time members of Durham University staff are afforded a 10% reduction in the full fee.
Children admitted to the Cathedral Choir following a successful audition are accepted as either full boarders or day pupils to the school. Choristers receive discounted fees as shown above (further discounts cannot be applied to this already reduced fee). The Chorister fees include free piano and music theory lessons.
