Payment Terms

Tuition fees may be paid annually or by term, with the exception of Year 13 students who must pay annually. Tuition fees paid annually enjoy favourable rates compared to fees paid by term. Each term's tuition fees and all other sums for which the parent/guardian is liable must be paid before the beginning of the College term. Whether tuition is paid by the parent/guardian or the employer of one of the parents/guardians, the parent/guardian shall take full responsibility to ensure that tuition fees are paid in full before their child may begin classes at the College. Families with 3 or more children enrolled in full day programmes are entitled to a discount of 5% per student.

The College reserves the right to request annual fees in certain cases, where previously, there has consistently been late termly payments. The final decision on application of this clause rests with the Director of Business Administration.

Administration Charge for Late Payment

If the Parent/Legal Guardian does not pay any type of fees or charges due to the College on time, a late payment administration charge of RMB 1,000 will be imposed for each late payment reminder issued by the College. That is, RMB1,000 will be charged when the College issues the first reminder, and if fees or charges are still not paid after the first reminder, another RMB 1,000 will be charged if the College issues a second reminder. However, this administration charge will not apply if arrangement for late payment has been made with the College prior to the deadline for payment of the relevant fees or charges.

Tax Receipts / Fapiao

DCB will issue official tax receipts (Fapiao) for all school fee payments (excluding the Deposit). The Fapiao can only be issued by academic year or semester before the end of the paid academic year in accordance with local policies and regulations.
