Corpus Christi
This holiday is observed on the second Thursday after Whit Sunday. Corpus Christi translates to ‘Body of Christ’ and refers to the components of the Eucharist or Holy Communion.

National Day
The National Day is celebrated on August 15th in commemoration of Prince Franz Josef II’s birthday as well as the Feast of the Assumption.

Nativity of Our Lady
Nativity of Our Lady is celebrated on September 8th in commemoration of the birth of Mary, the mother of Jesus.

All Saints’ Day
All Saints’ Day is observed on 1st in commemoration of all Christian Saints. This holiday is also referred to as Hallowmas, Feast of Saints, or Hallows Day.

Immaculate Conception Day
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is observed on December 8th to mark the Christian conviction that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was protected from original sin her whole life.

Christmas Day
This holiday is celebrated on December 25th to mark the birth of Jesus.

St. Stephen’s Day
This holiday is celebrated on December 26th in celebration of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr according to Western Christianity. This holiday is also referred to as the Second Day of Christmas or Boxing Day.
