Job Summary

  • Your first task for the day is all about advising and meetings. As a medical delegate, a big part of your work is promoting our belief that breastfeeding is best for babies and is recommendable over all other feeding alternatives. This means meeting up with medical and paramedical contacts and providing reliable information on infant nutrition and infant feeding practices.
  • After a quick coffee break and a look through your emails, it is time for some admin. Part of your job requires monitoring and reporting our competitors’ activities to the Medical Field Manager. From new competitor products to communication strategies, your role demands an understanding of the business landscape we work in and how our competition operates.
  • As a personal responsibility, our medical delegate must adhere and comply to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes when undertaking any activity. This includes our strictest requirement that you will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in your business capacity.
