NODDY was established in 1978, some 43 years ago by the current owner in response to an evident need for such provision in the city of Bangkok. Initially the focus was on the expatriate community but this subsequently expanded to provision for Thai nationals as well.
Being situated in a cul-de-sac in a prime residential area of Bangkok with close proximity to various embassies, and large business headquarters and offices, NODDY provides a high visibility option for an expanding group of families. With the advent of the AEC (Asian Economic Community) International education for Thai children has become very popular and the Centre has become well-known because the way they operate meets the objectives of these children to be well-prepared for entry to the prime international schools. We operate under license from The Department of Child Welfare of Thailand and are in the process of registering with The Ministry of Education (MoE).
Our classes are small and our caring staff are constantly aware of encouraging children to grow up with a friendly and helpful attitde towards each other. It is a pleasure to see how they grow up in ability and self-confidence as they move through the classes and to know that they will be ready to enter primary school, well prepared to join the next stage of their education. Our fees are very competitive and enable parents to prepare for the years ahead when their chrildren progress through the future years of their school journey.
At present there are approximately 70 children with ages ranging from 18 months to 6 years. NODDY admits both boys and girls, of all nationalities and religions. Most of the children move on to International schools such as Shrewsbury International School-Bangkok, King's College Bangkok, followed by St.Andrews School, Garden International School and Alliance Français.
NODDY applies the Early Years Fondation Stage (EYFS), a British curriculum, and scales it down to suit the younger children, always being conscious of the ‘five areas of learning’. We use 'Free-Flow-Play' technique, a technique that focuses on children leading their individual activities with close observation and guidance from the teachers. This technique allows children to broaden their immagination and creativity and help to build up their confidence.
Our Mission is To provide a happy and purposeful environment for pre-school children, enabling them to adjust to the changed environment away from home and parents for a short period each day, to learn social skills with their own peer groups and encourage imagination, creativity, practical ability and self confidence.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
Both of my children were at Noddy from the age of 2 and stayed all the way to year 1. Noddy is simply wonderful and we all loved it very much. We have so many happy memories of our children at Noddy Playgroup. We just loved it. The staff are all wonderful and the facilities are good and safe. I just wish I could do it all over again.

My child has the best experiences here. There is never a day when she doesn’t want to go to school. She definitely learns a lot through play and with the help of a warm and loving environment created by teachers and all staffs.
