Dubai, UAE: Pearson, the world’s learning company today announced that it will conduct a series of six interactive live webinars for education professionals and principals across the Middle East. For that, Pearson will bring together renowned experts across the region and from other countries globally, including Dr Abdulla Al Karam (Chairman of the Board of Directors & Director General, KHDA, Dubai).
The free interactive webinars will be offered covering topics including education in 2020, more than school, assessment in testing times and transitions’, experience-based learning, parenting, online and offline training in the new normal. Educators of all types will find useful tips and resources to help bring technology in their learning and take training to the next level.

The webinars will be hosted by Professor Dr Ger Graus OBE, Global Director of Education for KidZania, joined by thought-leaders from the education sector and beyond to discuss the current state of the industry, what the future may look like and lessons to be learnt. In #TheNewNormal, series of live interactive webinars, Professor Dr Graus will join a renowned group of scholars and leaders to discuss the effects of this global epidemic on education in the Middle East and Globally and extrapolate the new normal in education post Covid19.

Little did we know that one day we would be confronted with a new reality that demands the change in education to be dramatic and rapid. We are now aware more than ever that the changes in the education sector due to covid19 is not and should not be temporary and that this new global epidemic is imposing a new reality on education that we need to cope with. The regional and global educational communities are joining forces to analyse the initial reactions and different educational initiatives to mitigate the impacts of school closure due to Covid19, and to envision the future of education post Covid19”.
