We are proud to be the first and only international school that is accredited with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in Vietnam; a curriculum which we believe helps us to achieve our Shared Vision, embrace our community’s wide diversity and foster a love for lifelong learning.

If you haven’t already, we would encourage you to come and enjoy a visit to our peaceful, green and tranquil surroundings of District 2, HCMC, and see first-hand the tangible development of our learner’s intrinsic personal values, balanced with their academic goals. Our caring, supportive and internationally qualified teachers demonstrate their capacity to provide a more personalized learning (our maximum class size of 20 is one of the best learner/teacher ratios in the city) and a strong commitment to ensuring your child is healthy, happy and learning focussed.

At Saigon Star, we supplement the IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum), the IPC and the IMYC (International Middle Years Curriculum) with the English National Curriculum. We provide specialist teachers with expertise in Sports and Swimming, Music, Performing Arts and Mandarin. All of our teachers arrive fully qualified or licensed, with at least 3 years experience from their home country. Our aim is to provide all of our teachers with consistent, high quality professional development opportunities that positively impact our learners and ensures longevity in our journey together.

We hope that you will join our fantastic family environment and support us in becoming the strong foundation for your child on their long educational journey ahead.

Beyond the influence of parents, a child’s education is the single most important factor in determining the type of person a child will become; that's why a school’s ‘shared vision’ is so important. Our Shared Vision is Inspired Learners. Global Thinkers. Our Mission is for every child to be safe and successful. We define ‘safe’ as being both physically safe and emotionally safe. We define ‘successful’ as experiencing daily success in learning, making meaningful contributions to society, and developing the necessary attitudes and skills to be a lifelong learner.

Incredible, small and best personalized learning environment for young children in HCM. I was about to send her to ISHMC after turning down British International School... And it is our 3rd year now for my daughter and we couldn't be happier: 12 children in her class first 2 years, now up to 16. Great teachers- all native English speakers, mostly from England. several famous international ciriculum accreditations. Montessori teaching method. They teach children HOW TO THINK, NOT WHAT TO THINK... and they greatly involve parents who also participate in a 360 degree teaching philospohy where we are engaged and active... Our preschool teacher was integrating Gustav Klint and other famous 1960's California artists into the day to day curicilum. In our 3rd year all the parents had a problem with a newly hired teacher. We went in and complained... and the school REPLACED THE TEACHER and found just an amazing teacher who left British International School after 2 years (because the teaching environment is so rigid). Is there any school that you knwo that woudl respond so well to paretn's concerns? Sure it is a small school trying to grow, so for older students (after 5th grade), they do not have as good a learning environment> BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TIGHT CLOSE AND CARING COMMUNITY THAT KNOWS HOW TO IMBUE AND FOSTER CURIOSITY AND LEARNING FOR YOUNG CHILDREN, THERE IS NO BETTER SCHOOL IN HCM.

Nice playing ground, but small school. Not much competition for high performance kids. Teaching quality control and monitoring system is not sure available. Not sure about qualification of teachers. Some teachers still shout loudly in the class. No computer or science lab. Lack of teacher for foreign language.

A great school- has small class sizes, a challenging but fun and meaningful curriculum and amazing teachers who go beyond their duty! It has a beautiful campus and there is a family feel to the school!
