Singapore International School (Hong Kong) [SISHK] was established in 1991 offering only preparatory years and primary education. With the strong support of Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE), SISHK today offers a Singapore-styled, through-train education programme from preparatory years to pre-university levels.
To prepare our students for the challenges of an ever-changing world, our student-centric, values-driven holistic education aims to help our students harness the joy of learning, strengthen their character and active citizenry, nurture an entrepreneurial dare and develop their skills and abilities for innovation and future learning. Everything we do revolves around our school values of respect, responsibility, resilience, integrity, care and harmony (3RICH).
We help our students lay strong foundations in the acquisition of knowledge, skills and values, they are also encouraged to go beyond the classroom and apply their learning to real world contexts. We guide our students to understand the interconnectedness across subjects and see the relation between what they learn in school and the real world. Our students are given the freedom to explore and discover their interests and abilities, which encourage and motivate them to learn for life. They are encouraged to be inquisitive and use their imagination to draw on their creativity and seek solutions to real world problems. Our school prepares our students to create value for others and contribute positively to the community which we are a part of.
At Nam Long Shan Campus, A special flexible space dedicated to the learning of music , this space can also be easily converted into seminar rooms. Compared to the existing facilities, this new space will provide more flexibility for music lessons, and for conducting seminars and workshops.
The addition of the Music/Seminar Rooms will enable the existing music and drama rooms to be converted to customised Learning Support Rooms. In AY1819, the school strengthened our support for students with learning challenges with the creation of customised learning support programmes for literacy, numeracy and special needs, etc. This ensures a more inclusive education to reach out to students who are struggling in their learning.
Situated at the bookshop and the surrounding area at the Plaza, the Multi-Purpose Room would allow us to conduct workshops, seminars and events for the parents, alumni and members of the public. The room can be used for co-curricular and sporting activities such as wushu training and table-tennis. The room is equipped with sliding doors so it can be opened up as an extension to the Plaza or become an enclosed area for school activities on cold and wet weather days.
A second lift will be installed to serve the floors between the Plaza and the rooftop. This will support the movement of staff and students around the school.
The current General Office will be converted into a reception area and Conference Rooms. The Conference Rooms are designed to meet the increasing demand for flexible spaces for meetings and consultations between staff, students, parents and visitors.
The Bookshop is relocated to P5 with the addition of the Multi-Purpose Room. Parents will find it easier to access the bookshop in this new location which is situated away from the main learning areas of the school. This supports the safety and security efforts of the school as visitors to the bookshop would only need to go to P5.

Singapore International School was first established in September 1991 in Kennedy Town with an enrolment of 200 pupils.
In 1995, SIS moved to its current premises in Aberdeen. The new purpose-built school was built on land granted by the Hong Kong government, and the cost of the building was borne by the Singapore Government.
In 2012, our secondary campus was officially open. The two campuses are connected by a link-bridge.
Presently, the school has an enrolment of approximately 1320 pupils of more than 20 nationalities with Singaporeans and Hong Kong citizens forming the majority.
SIS is recognised as a premier educational institution. Our first two batches of students have done well in their IGCSE examinations: they include winners of the Outstanding Cambridge Learners, such as Top in the World (Additional Mathematics, Global Perspectives and Mathematics) and Top in Hong Kong (Biology, Global Perspectives, Music and Physics). Our first batch of IBDP students graduated in 2012/13
