Well, for one, they can learn about the history of the city they are currently living in or visiting. In the Cardiff Story Museum, children can discover how Cardiff used to be a small town which transformed to become one of the largest ports in the world. Kids will be attentive to the story told by the photographs, videos, and other multimedia found in the museum. Moreover, kids can dress up in costumes and play in a wooden train and kitchen in the museum’s play area. The Cardiff Story Museum can be found in the Old Library Building just within the city center. It is open from Mondays to Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you’re willing to go museum hopping in Cardiff, the St. Fagans National Museum of History should definitely be included in your list. The St. Fagans National Museum of History primarily showcases the history of how people in Cardiff (and Wales) have evolved through time.
