Top Private Schools for The 3rd Consecutive Year

St Christopher’s School, Bahrain’s Premier British School, Puts Bahrain on The Map of The World’s Top Private Schools for The 3rd Consecutive Year.

St Christopher’s School, Bahrain has – for the third consecutive year- been recognised as one of the world’s best private schools by Spear’s School Index and Carfax Education. St Christopher’s School has been awarded the honour for the last 2 years and is, once again, the only school in Bahrain to have achieved this prestigious ranking.

“We are immensely proud to keep the Kingdom of Bahrain on this prestigious list of the world’s best schools for the third year,” said St Christopher’s Principal, Dr Simon Watson. “We are a school that not only ranks among the world’s best for its academic excellence but also for the Mission and Values that every member of our community embraces. We are a diverse school community that strives everyday towards ‘An education for a shared humanity’. It is a great honour to be recognised for our excellence on an international stage year after year.”

Carfax Education, the leading global education consultancy, announced last Thursday, the results of its annual Schools Index, the leading international index of the top private schools in the world. Categorised by region, prospective parents and pupils can now access a list of the world’s top schools for 2023 across the Middle East, Europe, USA, Southeast Asia and the rest of the world; reviewed and selected by a panel of top global education consultants.

As well as formal criteria, such as academic results and preparation for university entry, schools are selected for their unique ethos, their reputation both locally and internationally, and how they prepare students for life beyond academia. Collated by education experts, the index is the most comprehensive global guide available.

Fiona McKenzie, Head of Education, Carfax Education, said: “Now in its fourth year, the Schools Index has rapidly become a valuable resource for parents looking for the very best education for their child, wherever they are in the world – as well as for the private schools sector. This year’s guide has been comprehensively curated by international experts, with each school notably recognised for their own individual footprint in education, including academics, facilities, preparation for university entry, unique ethos and how they prepare students for life beyond academia. Demand for excellent schools remains high and is still fiercely competitive, as parents strive to ensure their child receives the strongest foundations to set them up for a lifetime of success.’
