When Mrs Shakuntala Mankani, JINS’ Founder, came to Dubai in 1964 as a young woman with her husband and a baby, she had no idea where life would take her. With her daughter, Veena, they started a dream endeavour, Jumeirah International Nurseries, in 1981 and now we are celebrating over 40 years of Dubai’s happiest nursery.
We started small…. with a big vision of delivering an outstanding education to thousands of children in Dubai.

As our child prepares to move on to her next school after nearly three wonderful years at Jumeirah International Nurseries Downtown, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a positive experience it has been for our family. During her time at the nursery, she has built meaningful friendships with both her classmates and teachers, and we have seen her confidence, independence, and love of learning grow tremendously. The caring and supportive environment created by the team has helped her flourish both academically and socially. What has stood out most to us as parents is the strong partnership the nursery fosters with families. We have always felt listened to, supported, and treated as trusted partners in our child’s development and wellbeing. We are also especially grateful for the support, reassurance, and sense of stability the nursery provided during periods of regional uncertainty and instability. Knowing that our child was in such a caring and nurturing environment gave us real peace of mind. We leave with many happy memories and a deep appreciation for the teachers, staff, and leadership team who have played such an important role in our child’s early years. Our journey at JINS Downtown has been truly amazing. The whole staff are so caring and welcoming, each one of them taking the time to know your name personally, something we’ve never experienced before at any other school. Miss Sophia has been exceptional in her personalised approach towards our kid and even towards us. She would never hesitate to meet us, at our request, to discuss the development of our kid. She was always willing to help and to provide extra guidance when required. A big big thank you for everything you’ve done for us. A big thank you to Miss Orlean and Miss Mona as well, both have been awesome. The Head, Mrs Namrata, made us feel at home from the very first time we met. She would very often leave her office and come for a quick chat during the morning drop-off. Jumeirah International Nursery Downtown branch has been home for our children since past 3 years. We are extremely happy with our experience at this nursery. We have had an absolutely wonderful experience at Jumeirah International Nursery over the past two years, where our son attended Nursery and FS1. A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Downtown Dubai! As a family that recently relocated to Dubai, finding the right nursery for our little one was one of our biggest concerns. When our younger child found his previous school overwhelming, we began searching for a nursery close to home and came across Jumeirah International Nurseries (JINS) in Downtown. Honestly, we weren't sure what to expect — being new to the country, the uncertainty was real. But from the very first day, JINS exceeded every expectation we had. What truly sets this nursery apart is the warmth and attentiveness of its staff. They pay close attention to every child as an individual, going above and beyond to ensure that each little one feels safe, secure, and genuinely cared for. We are extremely happy with our experience at JINS. My 18-month-old child goes there, and the care, love, and attention given by the staff truly give us peace of mind. After spending two years at a previous nursery where our son was constantly unhappy and not showing the developmental progress we had hoped for, we were genuinely concerned and disheartened.
