Chubby Cheeks Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum delivered using best practices from different early years education philosophies such as the Montessori approach and Reggio Emilia approach. We realize that every child is different; no two children even from the same family are alike. Hence our curriculum itself is diverse - where sky is the limit.
The Early Years Foundation Stage ( EYFS ) is a preschool education framework established by the British Government, it was launched in 2002, and has been recently updated. The EYFS programme has seven primary focus areas.
We encourage children to become independent and self confident, and make positive relationships with their peers and adults. Successful personal, social and emotional development is critical for young children for success in all other areas of learning and development.
Chubby Cheeks Nursery provides a language rich learning environment which gives children opportunities for speaking and listening and for sharing their ideas and feelings.
Through listening to stories and sharing a wide range of books the children will develop a love of reading. At the same time they will learn about the shapes and sounds of letters through songs, rhymes and our Jolly Phonics programme.
This area of learning includes working with numbers, shapes, space and measures, and counting, sorting and matching. Children are encouraged to develop their experience of numbers, pattern, shapes and measurement through structured play.
Young children are inquisitive to find out more and more about the world they live in and the people they encounter. Children at Chubby Cheeks Nursery are encouraged to explore and investigate materials and to question how things work. This area of learning and development forms the foundation for later work in science, design and technology, history, geography, and information and communication technology (ICT).
Chubby Cheeks Nursery gives children ample opportunities for the healthy development of body and physical skills. Activities to promote gross motor skills include running, climbing, jumping, hopping, skipping, riding tricycles, throwing and catching balls and bean bags and watering plants. Fine motor skills are encouraged using a variety of resources including play dough, paint, crayons, scissors, beads and puzzles.
Creativity is fundamental to successful learning. We give our children opportunities to share their thoughts, ideas and feelings through art, music, movement, dance, imaginative and role play activities.

I am very happy to have selected CCN DIP branch for my daughter...as any parent, I was a bit reluctant at the beginning...I started with summer camp in August 2015, 3 days a week attendance and my daughter was so happy at the end of it, that I decided to go for a five days attendance for the school term. My daughter connected really well with her new friends and Ms Lena, during the summer classes and with her current teacher,Ms Gloria. Both are extremely child friendly, great attitude...I cannot find enough words to express what wonderful teachers they are...I would also like to add that, after seeing a few nurseries, I shortlisted two, one of them just two minutes drive from my place; however, the deciding factor for CCN was that they organize field trips, which are such a fun experience for Alya.

“CCN DIP” a fantastic place for my child. It is truly a learning experience for Rida, as she understands a lot of things. We would like to thank Ms. Lara and Ms. Lina, for their support, in working with Rida. From day one, Rida enjoyed each and every class in CCN DIP and used to look forward to go to nursery every day. I really appreciate Ms. Lina’s enthusiasm; ability and the assistance to motivate children, have resulted in a significant manner. We are so pleased with how Angelina has settled at Chubby Cheeks Nursery (dip). She s very happy and has made so much progress in every aspect of her development since she started with ccn. Great place for my child. Even though was his first time being in a nursery. I was so worried to send him to nursery until I visited Chubby cheeks DIP and met Ms. Lara and the lovely teachers. I knew from the first day that Charbel will be in safe place. Many thanks for Ms. Lara for the great support, Ms. Geani who made charbel's firt 3 months a great experience and for realizing his talents. Sending one’s child to a pre-school is always a tough decision. We did a lot of research before selecting the Chubby Cheeks Nursery for Myra and within the first few days we realized that we had made the right decision. She has learnt a lot in the nursery & really looks forwards to going there every morning.
