How to apply

Before completing form please read: Terms and Conditions of Enrolment. You can also view our Fee Details. To complete form we will require:

  • Birth Certificate if born in NZ
  • Passport if born overseas
  • Immunisation Certificate

You can upload electronic copies to the form or mail them to: QMC Enrolments Director, PO Box 12-274, Thorndon, Wellington. In order to process your application you will be required to pay a Registration Fee of $120.00 incl. GST. This may be done via bank transfer, cheque or via online payment with your credit card. Once your Registration Fee is received your application will be processed.

Enrolment for International students at QMC

Apply online now or download the enrolment form, fill it in and send it back to our Enrolments Director. This must be completed and forwarded with the Registration Fee. This amount is not refunded in the event of a place not being available. The following will give an indication of the admission procedure for International Students:

Visas and immigration

Full details of visa and permit requirements, advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying, and reporting requirements are available through the New Zealand Immigration Service and can be viewed on their website at www.immigration.govt.nz

Insurance

International students must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand. The College is willing to organise medical insurance through either Southern Cross Healthcare or Uni-Care (a division of Crombie Lockwood New Zealand) at a cost of approximately $545. Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services with New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visit, you may be liable for the full costs of that treatment. Full details on entitlements to publicly-funded health services are available through the Ministry of Health and can be viewed here, The Accident Compensation Corporation provided accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs.
