Nexus International School (Singapore) puts its learners at the heart of everything it does. From its purpose-built campus—designed by educators to spark innovation and creativity—to its unique coaching approach and inclusive community, Nexus is a place where every child is empowered to thrive.
Offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to children aged 3 to 18, Nexus takes a holistic approach that nurtures confident, well-rounded individuals. Learners are encouraged to follow their interests, take ownership of their learning, and explore topics in meaningful, hands-on ways. At every stage, they are supported by dedicated teachers who guide, challenge, and champion their growth.
The curriculum begins with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), followed by the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the IGCSE, and finally, the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). This progression not only builds academic strength, but also fosters curiosity, independence, and a global mindset. Nexus learners are encouraged to experiment, take risks, and reflect—developing skills that serve them well beyond the classroom.
Instead of asking, “What do you want to be?”, Nexus asks, “What problems do you want to solve?” Learners are guided to think critically, push boundaries, and make mistakes as they discover how they can make a difference in the world. Using this forward-looking and empowering approach, Nexus equips its learners with skills that prepare them for an ever-evolving future.
The campus itself reflects this ethos. In 2020, Nexus unveiled its new school in Aljunied, a purpose-built campus designed with flexible spaces that supported innovative learning by promoting collaboration and creativity. From specialist Early Years learning spaces and science labs to performance studios and sports facilities, every corner was designed to enhance how children learn, play, and grow.
Nexus is a truly international community, home to over 60 nationalities with no single nationality over 19% of the population, exposing learners to diverse global perspectives. They celebrate cultures, both in and out of the classroom, broadening their worldviews and fostering deep respect for others.
Outside of academics, learners have a wide range of co-curricular activities (CCAs) that allow them to explore their interests, most offered conveniently on campus. Whether it’s coding, music, robotics, or sports, these experiences help learners discover their passions and form friendships outside of the classroom.
Families choose Nexus because it offers a strong academic foundation while championing a nurturing and dynamic environment where relationships matter. Curiosity is encouraged and every learner is seen as an individual. Supported by a forward-thinking and constantly updated curriculum, Nexus learners are equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow—wherever their paths may lead.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
My kids have been in the school from Nursery and the eldest is now in Y8. Really friendly and welcoming school - completely unpretentious. It is very flexible in its approach and communication with teachers is good. It is also great that it is a international school rather than a British or Australian school for example. I think this helps to make the student and teaching body truly international.

Nexus welcomed both my daughters with a warm community spirit as first time expats. From the teachers to administrators as well as the parent community nexus continues to offer an exceptional learning environment for our family.

My three children moved to Nexus last year from another international school in Singapore. They are extremely happy at Nexus and have felt very welcomed from the moment they started. The community is one of the most diverse of all international schools in Singapore and everyone is accepted and made to feel they belong. My children love going to school and the amount of care, support and encouragement they receive from their teachers is excellent. I would definitely recommend Nexus to all families looking for a truly international experience for their children.

One thing I like about the school is its emphasis on holistic development. Beyond academics, the school places great importance on extracurricular activities, sports, and the arts. Learners are encouraged to explore their talents and interests, fostering a well-rounded personality. Good facilities and equipment for sports, music, drama, and art contribute significantly to creating a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.

My kids have been at Nexus since August 2017 when they were at the old campus in Ulu Pandan. They love the school and this new campus in Aljunied is amazing. My son is part of the elite swimming squad and is enjoying his training in the Olympic size pool and my daughter enjoys being part of the drama school production. Even though its a big school it still have that small community feel where teachers know all the kids names.

My children have attended Nexus for the past 6 years ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and I couldn't be happier that we chose Nexus for them. The staff are excellent. My children have had amazing opportunities not just academically but outside of the classroom too through trips, sports and CCAs. I feel confident that Nexus is preparing them to be successful in their future education and work and just as importantly to have balanced lives and make valuable contributions to society.
