The Junior School is for students from Pre-Kindergarten through to Grade 5 (Nursery to Year 6 in the UK system). It consists of the First School (Pre-KG to Grade 1) and Lower School (Grades 2 to 5).
Life in the Junior School is vibrant, happy and exciting, with a rich curriculum and warm sense of community giving your child the best possible start to their education. From age three, students will follow an academically ambitious programme of learning, with their teachers creating an environment that enables them actively to discover new knowledge, skills and understanding.
The Senior School is for students in Grades 6 to 12 (Years 7 to 13 in the UK system) and includes a Sixth Form (Grades 11-12) from August 2021.
Our goal is for each student to recognise academic excellence and to realise that it is attainable. We believe that students should be given every opportunity to try new things and explore their interests and talents, in order for their whole personality to grow. Through inspiring teaching, NLCS (Singapore) students will develop their love of subjects and, in exploring this subject passion, will become truly independent learners.
NLCS (Singapore) Sixth Form brings students together at this final stage of their educational journey with us, recognising their greater maturity and focus as they embark on their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) studies.
The DP curriculum framework allows students and staff at NLCS (Singapore) to aspire to our Guiding Statements while fulfilling the IB mission and implementing IB philosophy. Thus it focuses on academic rigour and scholarship whilst incorporating elements designed to cater for a truly international cohort, aspiring to attend elite universities across the world.
We believe in treating each student as an individual, providing them with floors, not ceilings, and encouraging them to run their own race. To that end, we offer a broad and balanced range of subject options that allows every student to develop and indulge their intellectual curiosity both in the classroom and beyond.

Our experience since our daughter joined NLCS in August has been very positive. She has seamlessly transitioned into 'big school' life, thanks to the incredible support from her teacher, who is quite simply, wonderful! My son has been studying in this school for past 4.5 years and he loves the school. Kids are given lot of exposure in terms of art, music, dance according to their likes and interests.All the teachers in the school are very responsive.What truly stands out is the school’s welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, where diversity is celebrated, and students from various backgrounds feel valued and respected.
