It is quite amazing to think that Falcon British Nursery last had parents and guardians on premises for Sports Day in January 2020, just before the Covid pandemic began. For two years the nursery has been under Covid restrictions and all events have been virtual.
We are thrilled that NCEMA and ADEK has given a special exemption for parents and guardians to attend the 50th National Day celebrations on premises. The Covid safety protocols include a mask mandate, two adults or guardians only being allowed on premises per child, green Al Hosn for all visitors and negative PCR test less than 96 hours old, 1 m social distance between all adults and 2 m between bubbles. Children and parents will be able to experience desert life riding on a pony, squeal in delight bouncing on a Freej bouncy castle with their favourite Freej characters, pose with a real falcon against the Abu Dhabi backdrop and have a henna design on the hand or a UAE Flag face painting experience.
Falcon British Nursery started a tradition of releasing one song for the first national day under Covid restrictions and uploaded “UAE National Day Song | December 2nd” on their YouTube channel – Falcon British Education. This year the nursery wanted to do something special for the 50th UAE National Day celebrations and released the song “UAE National Day Song | Happy Birthday UAE – 50 years and more” on their YouTube Channel. For the big celebrations, Falcon British Nursery has also released their 50th anniversary colouring book and featuring their own Falcon mascots Farah and Fahim. As part of the Falcon Go series, Farah and Fahim visit all the Emirates after reading a book about the 7 Emirates of the UAE.
